Took notes, feeling motivated. Finally a set of strategies that will work with my brain.
I thought this webinar gave some solid, science backed information and realistic strategies for forming and breaking habits. My favorite line was “Habits are a lifeline.” I often wake up with a sense of “what am I supposed to do today?” Relying on a habits to at least ground me with some basic self-care and spiritual habits gives me the chance to have some easy wins and settles me down long enough to think about what my what is an obligation, my priorities, and remembering that I can’t do everything my mind comes up with. I like that my morning habits remove the arduous process of deciding what to do.
