Who: Dr. George Sachs

Biography

Dr. George Sachs is a licensed child and adult psychologist specializing in ADD/ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders. He did his clinical training in Chicago at Cook County Hospital, Mt. Sinai Hospital and the Child Study Center, and completed his internship and postdoctoral work at the Children’s Institute in Los Angeles, where he also trained therapists in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Certified in Gestalt therapy, Dr. Sachs has consulted for Juilliard in New York and has authored several books, including The Adult ADD Solution, Helping the Traumatized Child, and Helping Your Husband with Adult ADD. His media appearances include NBC, CBS, WPIX, and contributions to the Huffington Post.
