In treating ADHD, the focus often is on how the you need to change. A strengths based approach requires identify where we have had success and what we did to make it happen. This can be challenging when there is inconsistency in performance. To fully realise potential, we need a way to find the features that come easy and how to make them work in our favour instead of becoming challenges.
To do this we need to identify how we like to function, what influences that function for benefit or detriment. To do this we will discuss the ecosystem for the person with ADHD that can support or hinder successful executive function.
